Abercrombie & Fitch’s Ex-CEO Arrested for Sex Trafficking

Brian Bieber, Michael Jeffries’s attorney, said that they “will react carefully to the allegations after the Indictment is unsealed and when suitable, but plan to do so in the courthouse– not the media.”

Mike Jeffries was the Chief Executive Officer of Abercrombie & Fitch from 1992 up until 2014, through the clothes brand name and its half-naked models’ heyday and afterwards failure. On Oct. 22, he was arrested by the FBI and federal district attorneys in a sex trafficking examination.

The federal investigation began in 2015 after Jeffries was called in a civil class-action suit by model David Bradberry alleging sex trafficking. He claimed more than 100 males were promised modeling chances for sexual favors.

“As we outlined in our suit, this was an Abercrombie-run, sex trafficking organization that penetrated throughout the business and enabled the three individuals apprehended today to take advantage of lots and loads of young, hopeful male versions,” Bradberry’s legal representative, Brad Edwards, told ABC Information.

Jeffries was detained in West Hand Beach, Florida, along with his companion, Matt Smith. Jeffries organized countless parties in New York, London, and Venice, with Smith throughout his profession.
